Marconi's Nobel Lecture
Guglielmo Marconi, as part of his receiving the Nobel Prize in Physics, was required to give a lecture on what his contribution to physics was. In 1909 he delivered the lecture in order to educate his fellow people and physicists in the still relatively young technology of radio transmissions.
This document was part of his reward for outstanding additions to world of physics. It is both a history and technical lecture: he informs his listener how he came to study radio waves and the development of his device in what is now a 25 page document. He included the contributions of other notables to his own development and humbly notes their contributions to his work.
